The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that an orthodontist can evaluate children as as early as age 7, even before all permanent teeth are present.  Early orthodontic treatment may consist of palatal expanders, early braces, space maintainers and growth monitoring.

TEENS

The early pre-teen to teen years are a great time to start full braces or Invisalign since all permanent teeth are present.  Some patients may have already had a previous phase of treatment (Phase 1) and are ready for Phase 2, or some patients may just be starting treatment for the first time.

More adults are seeking orthodontic treatment now than ever before with Invisalign or braces.  There are more cosmetic options available currently than in the past, and many of Dr. Nima's patients are adults of all ages.

BRACES ALTERNATIVE
INVISALIGN

Dr. Nima Rohani is a top Invisalign provider and an expert in improving smiles with Invisalign. Using a system of clear, computer generated aligners that are custom made, this is a more esthetic option that many teens and adults prefer. Invisalign straightens teeth gradually without the use of visible brackets.  One major advantage of Invisalign is that these aligners are removable, allowing patients freedom in what to eat and drink, as well as improved oral hygiene since brushing and flossing is much easier than it is with braces.
